OWNERSHIP
Lewis Burruss
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1985, Lewis was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps where he received extensive command experience. Through a combination of active duty and reserve commitments, Lewis served his country for over 23 years and retired as a Lt. Colonel.
Lewis’ career in construction has involved years of hands-on experience and hundreds of projects. Before starting 5 Bravo Construction in 2002, Lewis worked for over 10 years as a project manager for Turner Construction and Savik General Contractors. Lewis has worked in all aspects of the construction industry – estimating, project management, contract negotiation, business development, as well as the day-to-day functions of a construction company.
Lewis has been involved in a variety of types of commercial projects, including industrial and manufacturing facilities, health care facilities, retail centers and multi-story office buildings.
Lewis and his wife, Michele, have three children and reside in Lebanon, Tennessee.
